THE TEMPLE OF GOD IS UPON THE GROUND I STAND

May 21, 2020

Good Morning,

The Jesus Factor…The Thoughts, Words and Deeds of Jesus that reflect the path of the Communion with GOD.

  1. How do you Commune and Serve?

Two Commandments -Matthew 22:36-40

  1. Love GOD with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind.
  2. Love thy neighbor as thyself.

In Addition:

  1. Walk without Judgment, John8:7 He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.
  2. Practice Forgiveness, Luke 23:34 Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do.
  3. Practice Acceptance, Matthew 25:40 Truly I say to you that every time you did it to one of the needy of these my brethren, even the little ones like these, you did it to me.

2. What are Problems with Churches Today?

Witness Religion for Profit-Religious Real Estate. Look at the servant in the expensive suite preaching, do they truly walk the way? Do they truly speak in the Spirit of the Father?

Matthew 10:9-10 Provide neither gold nor silver nor brass in your purses, Nor scrip for your journey, nor pack for your journey, neither two coats, neither shoes, nor yet staves; for the workman is worthy of his meat.

Matthew 10:17-20 Beware of men, for they will deliver you up to the councils, and they will scourge you in their synagogues, and ye shall be brought before governors and kings for My sake, for a testimony against them and the Gentiles. But when they deliver you up, take no thought how or what ye shall speak, for it shall be given you in that same hour what ye shall speak. For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father who speaks through you.

The Grace of GOD witnesses the Spirit of GOD within You. It is the Knowledge of Devine Presence. Does your Servant bring you Grace or does your servant serve themselves?

3. Do You Know Your Path?

Everyone has a place, everyone has their unique purpose. You can either accept, embrace and express it as only you can or you can deny it and deny yourself the fulfillment of your story…your purpose.

Jesus had a choice and accepted his story.

Matthew 26:39-42 He went a little beyond them, and fell on His face and prayed, saying, “My Father, if it is possible, let this cup pass from Me; yet not as I will, but as You will.” And He came to the disciples and found them sleeping, and said to Peter, “So, you men could not keep watch with Me for one hour? Keep watching and praying that you may not enter into temptation; the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak.” He went away again a second time and prayed, saying, “My Father, if this cannot pass away unless I drink it, Your will be done.”

Matthew 26:51-54 Behold, one of those who were with Jesus reached and drew out his sword, and struck the slave of the high priest and cut off his ear. Then Jesus said to him, “Put your sword back into its place; for all those who take up the sword shall perish by the sword. Do you think that I cannot appeal to My Father, and He will at once put at My disposal more than twelve legions of angels? How then will the Scriptures be fulfilled, which say that it must happen this way?”

4. What is your story?

1 Corinthians 2:11 For who knows a person’s thoughts except their own spirit within them? In the same way no one knows the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.

Luke 11:9-13 “So I say to you: Ask and it will be given to you; seek and you will find; knock and the door will be opened to you. For everyone who asks receives; the one who seeks finds; and to the one who knocks, the door will be opened.”

Jeremiah 33:3 ‘Call to me and I will answer you and tell you great and unsearchable things you do not know.’

2 Peter 1:19-21 We also have the prophetic message as something completely reliable, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet’s own interpretation of things. For prophecy never had its origin in the human will, but prophets, though human, spoke from God as they were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

5. Disciples Today, Where is your Insight? Do you embrace the Gift of Grace or do you fall short like the Apostles?

Matthew 17:15-18 “Lord, have mercy on my son,” he said. “He has seizures and is suffering greatly. He often falls into the fire or into the water. I brought him to your disciples, but they could not heal him.” “You unbelieving and perverse generation,” Jesus replied, “how long shall I stay with you? How long shall I put up with you? Bring the boy here to me.” Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of the boy, and he was healed at that moment.

Matthew 14:25-31 Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. “It’s a ghost,” they said, and cried out in fear. But Jesus immediately said to them: “Take courage! It is I. Don’t be afraid.” “Lord, if it’s you,” Peter replied, “tell me to come to you on the water.” “Come,” he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beginning to sink, cried out, “Lord, save me!” Immediately Jesus reached out his hand and caught him. “You of little faith,” he said, “why did you doubt?”

Mark 11:22-24 Jesus answered them, “Have faith in God.Truly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, ‘Be taken up and thrown into the sea,’ and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that what he says will come to pass, it will be done for him. Therefore I tell you, whatever you ask in prayer, believe that you have received it, and it will be yours.

Luke 8:43-48 A woman was there who had been subject to bleeding for twelve years, but no one could heal her. She came up behind him and touched the edge of his cloak, and immediately her bleeding stopped. “Who touched me?” Jesus asked. When they all denied it, Peter said, “Master, the people are crowding and pressing against you.” But Jesus said, “Someone touched me; I know that power has gone out from me.” Then the woman, seeing she could not go unnoticed, came trembling and fell at his feet. In the presence of all the people, she told why she had touched him and how she had been instantly healed. Then he said to her, “Daughter, your faith has healed you. Go in peace.”

Ephesians 6:12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.

Do you walk in the footsteps of Jesus or do you just pretend?

Do you really ask, “What would Jesus Do?” or do you just “Do” what is convenient for you in the moment?

Are you really living for the Glory of GOD or are you just living for the glory of self?

Are you a christian hypocrite that claims out loud in public the praises of Jesus and inside proclaims the praises of EGO?

What are your thoughts, words and deeds and what is your relationship (communion) with GOD.

Jesus clearly served GOD, whom do you serve?

Are you in Acceptance or are you in Judgement, do you cast the first stone?

Are you a beacon of LOVE or are you the capitalist of FEAR and HATE?

Do you embrace the union in all of us or do you embrace the segregation in your ideology, your doctrine?

These are questions that define your path. These are questions that steward the truth.

Coram Deo -In GOD’s Glory, I Shall Go Forth
