A LETTER TO DAVID

David,
During the process of your chemotherapy, I heard this very clear one morning. The Love of GOD is for Everyone, if you believe, you receive. Surrendering to GOD is about expanding your belief in your relationship with GOD. Interesting, “Surrendering” should be replaced with the word, “Understanding”. Because once you start to understand, you don’t surrender, you embrace. You say, “Why has this taken so long?”
This shift in belief changes your perception, your thoughts, words and deeds. Therefore, a person of true belief, walks in belief, speaks in belief and acts in belief. They become uncommon and are easily recognized by the common. This is a path of choice, a path of change, a path of will. A person must push past the human ignorance of the mob and courageously walk towards the inner experience of the Spirit. This path is a limitless relationship of Acceptance, Forgiveness and Love.
The question is: Do you truly believe in GOD? Have you experienced the Truth within yourself or do you just rely on a 2000 year old transcript and the words from people without witness and/or experience. Remember, the ignorant will come together to bare false witness. They are the ones who claim salvation without Spiritual Communion. They will try to beat you down into submission and absorb you into their flock. A person of Understanding will not push nor pull, but Accept, Love and Forgive. They piece together their experience of the Truth within themselves and witness the higher calling. They realize that the path of Spirit is as individual as themselves. A gift from GOD, that cannot be homogenized.
There is unrest for those who embrace the path of Ego, the path of the human experience and deny and/or resist the Whispers of the Spirit. Broken families, broken communities and broken ideologies all trying to find the answer outside of themselves. Each blaming the other…in a circular path of ignorance that is perpetuated and compounded by the search for something within the mundane illusion that they themselves myopically perceive. Relationships are two sided. Your relationship towards understanding is a balance between your physical and spiritual perceptions. This balance is achieved through your personal experience and witness of the communion with your true self. Your Spirit that is directly connected to the Greater Spirit, many refer to as GOD. This connection can happen anytime, anywhere with anyone. GOD is Everywhere and is Everything. You just need to step back and take a look at the larger picture.
GOD will Always be the Answer and the communion with GOD is the key. You must reach in to step out and use what GOD has given you. Everyone is unique, every Spiritual path is unique and your tool set is unique. GOD knows your path, to believe otherwise means you are still learning. That’s OK, I have been there many times…more tears and frustration than I can remember.
Nomenclature is not a factor, so don’t get lost in it. Ego loves to use words to manipulate and confuse the Truth. If you wish to use GOD, Buddha, Jehovah, Jesus, Elohim, Great Spirit, Universal Consciousness, etc. It really doesn’t matter, but, Communion with your inner Spirit does. This is a place where your heart beats in rhythm with the Universal Heart…a belief without question. GOD communicates on an infinite number of levels, so what is most comfortable for you to use to connect and commune is what you should use. Anything deviating from the path of communion is missing the mark. I will reiterate, it is your path and yours alone. People can help guide you, so be open minded regarding different ideas and/or directions. However, only you and GOD know the Truth about yourself.
You are a spiritual traveler of the human experience. Your thoughts, words and deeds are the guidelines of your Spiritual journey, not the ideologies of others. Remember, GOD is about Acceptance, Love and Forgiveness. GOD is also about Expression, Experience and Enlightenment. If you want change, if you want peace, if you want strength, if you want freedom…I guess one of the most important questions you should ask yourself, Do I want to be the True Expression of GOD’s Design? If so, look in the mirror, the answer is starring directly at you - Amen.
Belief is based upon experience and not blind faith. Blind faith is the Russian Roulette of life.
